Forcibly displaced Palestinians leave north Gaza

GAZA CITY, PALESTINE - NOVEMBER 08: Anadolu video shows a group of forcibly displaced Palestinians, leaving from the northern part of the blockaded Gaza Strip on Wednesday, Nov. 08. Israel has launched relentless air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip since a cross border attack by Hamas on Oct. 7. At least 10,569 Palestinians, including 4,324 children and 2,823 women, have been killed since then. The Israeli death toll, meanwhile, is nearly 1,600, according to official figures. Since Oct.7, the Israeli army's attacks have caused significant damage to most of the roads in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, making it difficult for civilians living in the region to move to the south. Roughly 1.24 miles (2 kilometers) of the pathway in the corridor, which is said to have been designated for evacuations, has suffered extensive destruction from Israeli assaults, making it nearly impossible for vehicles to pass through. Due to the inaccessibility of the road in the corridor because of Israeli attacks, Gazans who want to move from the north to the south have to make the journey on foot. This journey becomes even more difficult as older people, women, and children who have been forced to leave their homes due to the attacks have to travel on foot. It is reported that there are approximately 400,000 Palestinian civilians in the northern part of Gaza, which Israel has declared as fully surrounded.
