Bangladesh protest

A water-cannon of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, on 4th January 2015, was placed at the entrance of BNP chairperson's residence at Gulshan, Dhaka, Bangladesh which resulted 24 hours confinement of BNP chairperson at her residence. Government tightens the security across the country to counter BNP's (Bangladesh National Party) general assembly which was scheduled to take place on 05 January 2015. Government deploys huge numbers of security forces around BNP offices in Purana Paltan and Gulshan which resulted BNP chairperson's confinement at her own residence for last 24 hours. Beside, Dhaka Metropolitan Police declared that they will not permit any sort of political assembly in Dhaka with effect from 1700 hours on 04 January 2015 till next order.
