De Souza posted a total heat score of 14. 47 (out of a possible 20) in 6-8ft (2 metre) nearly doubling his Indonesian competitor I Nade Garut Widiart's 7. 40. De Souza will return in round three where he will compete on the next day of competition. The Rip Curl Pro Search Somewhere in Indonesia is the sixth stop on the ASP World Tour and includes the world's top 45 full-time touring male professional surfers plus three wildcards. The event has a ten day waiting period but requires only four full days of competition to be completed. Buchan will advance into round three where he will compete in the next day of competition.
