AVAILABLE IN BLACK AND WHITE ONLY: Library file picture dated 11/7/60 of Brian Statham, the former Lancashire and England fast bowler, has died after a long illness aged 69. Mr. Statham passed away peacefully at his home it has been announced today 11 June 2000 by a Lancashire spokesman. There was a minutes silence at Old Trafford before the national game between Lancashire and Worcestershire.
