Congressman Hensarling criticizes legislative inaction of Senate

Retiring Texas Congressman Jeb Hensarling says a jobs bill passed the House on a 406-4 vote that could not be obtained on a Mother's Day resolution but then languishes in the Senate, after 16 years in the body learning to never underestimate the capacity of the Senate to do nothing, such as on that bill but thanks to the leadership of President Donald Trump, Speaker Paul Ryan and Ways and Means Chairman Kevin Brady the economy was for most Americans the greatest of their entire lifetimes.
