Basketball: Fenerbahce Dogus claim Turkish title

Istanbul-based basketball giants Fenerbahce Dogus win Turkey's Tahincioglu Basketball Super Lig title late Wednesday. Fenerbahce Dogus won against TOFAS 94-64 in playoff finals' Game 5 at their home court Ulker Sports and Event Hall. Wednesday's victory made Fenerbahce Dogus win the series 4-1 to become 2017-2018 season's champions. Fenerbahce Dogus won this title for the third time in a row and the ninth time in the league’s history. Turkish Basketball Super Lig's most time winners are Anadolu Efes as they have won it 13 times. In the ceremony Turkish Basketball Federation President Hidayet Turkoglu -- a former Turkish basketball star and NBA player -- handed the cup to Fenerbahce Dogus captain Melih Mahmutoglu.
