'Epic' Balloon-Popping Bear Delights Children at Birthday Getaway

A black bear made an appearance at a birthday getaway for two girls in Sevierville, Tennessee, and popped a confetti-filled balloon, much to their delight. Video filmed by Nicholai Brooks shows the bear in a driveway pawing at balloons tied to fence before popping one with a bite. Brooks told Storyful he had rented a cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains with family friends as both families had daughters welcoming their eighth birthday. The group had just eaten birthday cupcakes when they spotted the bear in the driveway, sniffing at the decorations. 'Afterwards, the birthday girl's Mom, Andrea, shared with us that the day before she literally prayed to see a bear in a tree! But I would say this was a lot more memorable!' Brooks told Storyful.
