With San Fermin Festival Cancelled, Pamplona Locals Have Run Of The Town

Animal rights organizations Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and Anima Naturalis organized today a performance to claim a San Fermin festivities with no blood and the abolition of bullfightings and bull-runings. Protesters wearing fake horns broke a 'banderilla' (bullfighter's colourful stick) that covered the protesters in colourful powder. The annual Bull-Running Festival was canceled this year 2020 due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, The last time this happened was in 1938, during the Spanish Civil War.
