Former General Motors Workers Talk About Their New Lives

LORDSTOWN, OH MAR 01: Cicero Davis is age 54 and worked at GM for 2 years. He now makes more money than he did at GM. One of the jobs he doing these days is transporting recreational vehicles. He used the state retraining money to get his commercial driver's license and bus driver license. Davis does the final checkout on an RV he just delivered to Niles, Ohio from Indiana. -The General Motors auto factory in Lordstown, Ohio makes the Chevy Cruze, an affordable small car. Local workers and residents are dealing with the possibility that the plant may close this year. This would badly wound a local economy still reeling from the loss of the steel mills over the years.
