Supachai’s Snake Frog, Hillstream Caecilian - Ichthyophis supachaii - Stockfoto

This species has been reported from several areas in southern Peninsular Thailand, where it might occur more widely than is currently known. It is generally found at low altitudes.It is a subterranean species known only from montane and lowland evergreen forests, where recently recorded specimens were found moving over ground following heavy rain. The larvae inhabit forest streams.
