42nd edition of Argentina Air Convention kicks off in Buenos Aires

BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA - MARCH 09: Paratroopers of the Argentine Air Force participate in the Argentine Air Convention, in Buenos Aires Argentina, on March 9, 2024. On March 9 and 10, the 42nd version of the Argentine Air Convention will take place, an air exhibition in which fans build their own life-size airplanes and carry out experimental flights. The exhibition will feature stunts by professional pilots, military, scale model airplanes and RC competition. Within model airplanes we find various specialties: free flight, circular flight, and the largest, which is radio control, with all its modalities (scale airplanes, experimental, acrobatic, gliders, speed planes, helicopters, etc.). Electric flight is currently highly developed, possibly taking advantage of major aviation in its development, as well as 2 and 4-stroke combustion engines and turbines, all with a surprising technological level.
