Heavy Metal Guitar Sensation, 12, To Release Her First Album

Heavy metal guitarist Li-sa-X, a 12 year-old enrolled in an elementary school in Kanagawa Prefecture, shows off the axe skills that have earned her name as a guitar ninja, with her most popular YouTube video having amassed over 4.7 million views. Video was shot on February 24 , 2017, Japan. Li-sa-X was 3 years old when she first picked up on her father’s guitar and was 8 when she uploaded her hugely popular cover of “Scarified” by Racer-X to the sharing site. Riffing her stage name from the band, Li-sa-X lists English, hip-hop and making sweets among her other interests and has also found time to record a debut album due out on March 8.
