(Original Caption) While the Milwaukee Brave's get set to go out on the diamond against the Dodgers at Ebbets Field, a "benched" Bobby Thomson who broke his ankle early this year in a spring training game, gives his injured ankle a whirlpool bath in the dressing room here on May 12th, as Braves' Trainer Charles Lacks supervises the treatment. Even without Bobby's hitting, however, the Milwaukee team beat Brooklyn 5-1.
