15th Marine Expeditionary Unit Conducts Mountain Warfare Training

BRIDGEPORT, CA - DECEMBER 09: The 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Command Element learn to operate in winter conditions at the Marine Mountain Warfare Training Center on December 9, 2005 at the Marine Mountain Warfare Training Center near Bridgeport, California The 15th MEU is conducting mountain warfare training with the US Marine Corps' Infantry Officer's Course (IOC) in preparation for possible future missions in cold weather environments. It is the first major training exercise for the MEU since its return from deployment in June as well as the first time an entire MEU Command Element has conducted training with the IOC.
