Pro-Palestinian Students Occupy LSE Marshall Building London

Students from the London School of Economics (LSE) Student Union Palestine Society occupy the ground floor of the LSE's Marshall Building following a press conference to launch a divestment report on 14th May 2024 in London, United Kingdom. The report, entitled Assets in Apartheid, examines the LSE's investment portfolio, in particular investments in arms companies linked to Israel and companies linked to Israeli settlements. Students at universities around the UK are staging occupations to apply pressure on their study institutions to end academic partnerships with and divest from Israel as part of an ongoing global student uprising which began at universities in the United States.
