COLUMBUS, OHIO, UNITED STATES - 2021/06/30: Man holds a placard that says Housing is a human right during rally for housing rights in front of the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Columbus community members, activists and politicians all came out to support reform in housing in Columbus, Ohio at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. The protest was in reaction to the eviction moratorium that was set to expire at the end of June, but was extended for another month. The Greater Columbus Convention Center was picked as the location for the protest, because it has been the site of eviction hearings during the pandemic. Attendees and speakers at the protest saw the extension of the eviction moratorium as a short term solution to a longer term problem.
