(Original Caption) 1956-London- Famed jazz trumpeter Louis Armstrong is back in Britain after a lapse of 21 years. Armstrong is seen here at a reception at the Savoy Hotel, and is scheduled to play at the Empress Hall, London, and at concerts in many provincial towns. The reason for the long time between Armstrong's visits to Britain was a rift between the Musician's Unions of America and Britain.
