KENYA-KENYATTA-INDEPENDENCE
Leader of Kenya African National Union (KANU), Jomo Kenyatta, takes the oath during a swearing-in ceremony, June 01, 1963 in Nairobi as he becomes Prime minister of the autonomous Kenyan government.
