SEP 28 1965; Greek Infantrymen Splash Ashore From Landing Boats During Joint Exercise; The amphibious assault on coast of Greece was part of Exercise Deep Furrow with U.S. and Turkish troops.; War Games Greece Shows Loyalty to U.S.; By Dan Partner Denver Post Staff Writer Athens, Greece -áDespite internal political strife and the continuing quarrel with Turkey over Cyprus, Greece is sustaining her vicious anti-Communist policy in unswerving loyalty to the United States. Ardent dedication to U.S. leadership, observers here say, principally is fostered in appreciation for being saved from absorption by the Communists in 1947. That was the year the United Kingdom finally was forced to abandon Greece because of lack of money, and the United States began providing aid under the Truman Doctrine.
