Commissioning of the Uckermark line

The so-called Uckermark line was put into operation on the same day. The 380-kilovolt high-voltage line between Bertikow, Vierraden, Neuenhagen and Pasewalk, which is important for the energy transition in Brandenburg, is one of the most important infrastructure projects, according to the electricity supplier 50Hertz. The line increases the transport capacities for renewable energies, reduces grid bottlenecks and strengthens the European electricity grid with the connection to Poland, it said.
