Heat Wave Hits Normal Life In North India

North Indians are expected to bear the scorching heat for a few more days as the temperature has gone up by 46 degrees, as per Meteorological Department. Heat wave conditions intensified today in most parts of the country with temperatures hovering around 47 degrees Celsius, affecting normal life. No respite is due in the coming days though the monsoon hit Kerala, a day behind schedule. Amritsar and Ludhiana in Punjab and Hisar and Bhiwani in Haryana have been reeling under severe heat conditions with temperatures hovering between 45-47 degrees Celsius.
