Bernadette Taylor inspects a sentry box at Buckingham Palace. Four women from the Australian Federation Guard were part of a 150-strong contingent of Australian soldiers that took up the Queen's Guard for the first time. * It is the first time in the history of the Household Division that women have taken up sentry duty. Today's ceremony coincides with Australia Week marking the centenary of Australia becoming part of the Commonwealth. It is the first time in 12 years that Australian soldiers have protected Buckingham Palace and St James's Palace. (Photo by Stefan Rousseau - PA Images/PA Images via Getty Images)
