Students Protest For Better Climate Policy In Brussels

January 17th, Brussels. A call has been made for students to skip school every Thursday to protest in Brussels for better climate policy. Last week, 3,000 students from schools in Flanders took time off classes to come to Brussels to demonstrate their frustration at the lack of action by governments regional and federal. This time even more students gathered around the Central station in Brussels. The protests are organized by the seventeen-year-old Anuna De Wever, a student who plans to demonstrate for the climate every Thursday and to protest against the lax environmental policy of the politicians.
