HONG KONG-ECONOMY-FINANCE-TRADING-BUSINESS

In this picture taken on October 19, 2017, Cheung, a trader who worked on the floor since 1994, packs her belongings as she prepares to leave after her last day of work at the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. In its heyday in the 1980s, more than a thousand brokers dressed in signature red blazers made deals on the trading floor of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, in what was a raucous, competitive bear pit. With just a handful of traders remaining, the historic hall will close at the end of the month. / AFP PHOTO / Anthony WALLACE / TO GO WITH Hong Kong-economy-finance-trading-business, FOCUS by Elaine YU / The erroneous mention[s] appearing in the metadata of this photo by Anthony WALLACE has been modified in AFP systems in the following manner: [Cheung] instead of [Cheng].
