The Walls of Artajona (Cerco de Artajona in spanish) is the most important medieval fortification in the Middle Zone of Navarre. It is a walled complex of the eleventh century with nine crenellated towers, linked by the round path. The good conservation of the walled enclosure allows to go back in time to the Middle Ages. Inside the Cerco is the impressive church-fortress of San Saturnino, a solid and imposing building of the XIII century, declared a Historic Artistic Monument.
