One can make good progress traveling on gravel roads in outback Australia until a cloud of dust appears on the road ahead. Good chances are that you have a road train rapidly approaching. The pulse races and it is time to take evasive action and pull over to the side of the road. Don't consider getting back onto the road until the dust has cleared and full visibility has returned. There are many incidents where a second truck in a dusty convoy has had a narrow escape with a smaller oncoming vehicle. This section of road is north of Chillagoe in Cape York, Queensland.
