The Neptune Fountain (Italian: Fontana del Nettuno) is a fountain in the Piazza della Signoria in front of the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. The image is of marble and bronze and is 560 centimeters tall.The fountain is made from 1560 to 1575 by Bartolomeo Ammannati on the occasion of the wedding of Francesco de Medici with Archduchess Johanna of Austria in 1565.
