New York City, USA - October 5, 2014: A half-marathon race is taking place in the Central Park in New York City on a Sunday morning in autumn. The sun is still low resulting in long shadows. The race is the Grete’s Great Gallop paying tribute to Norwegian runner Grete Waitz (a nine-time New York City Marathon champion) as well as to New York City Marathon co-founder Fred Lebow. Almost 6,000 runners finished the race. The black and white image was captured with a 14mm wide angle lens and a full frame DSLR. Some motion blur is visible as well as a slight lens flare.
