Sha Po Wei is an old safe dock for fishing boats and the only ferry port to Taiwan for more than 300 years, located in southeast of Xiamen island, will be closed on June.10, 2015. After closure, it will be renovated into a cultural and historic tourist attraction. All the fishing boats will be expelled from here and the fishermen will have to change their ways of living.
