Ginger Rogers Modeling Evening Gown
(Original Caption) Shimmering lady...Gleaming cloth of gold which sparkles like molten metal is the material used in this ravishing evening gown which is included in the trousseau of beautiful Ginger Rogers, who recently became the bride of Lew Ayres. The waist length jacket, with full slashed sleeves caught at the belt and at the wrist is lined with henna crepe. A narrow band of the same material highlights the tiny high collar and is used as a trim on the round semi-low decolletage. The tightly moulded skirt flares into rich folds at the knees and carries on into a short train. Deep slashes on each side of the skirt furnish foot room. High-heeled gold pumps of the dress material are worn with the gown.
