KENYA-MEDIA-GOVERNMENT
A picture taken on February 17, 2015 shows the headquarters of Kenya's Standard Group Company, one of the leading media houses in the country. The consortium that brings together NTV, KTN, Citizen and QTV will face penalties and could lose their broadcast signal distribution licences, the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) has warned on February 15, 2015. CA director-general Francis Wangusi and Information Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i said the four TV stations grouped under the Africa Digital Network Consortium breached broadcast regulations by switching themselves off all digital platforms.
