Bosnian youths unveil the statue of late
Mostar, BOSNIA AND HERCEGOVINA: Bosnian youths unveil the statue of late martial arts legend Bruce Lee, featuring "Bruce Lee, 1940 - 1973, Your Mostar," in the southern Bosnian city of Mostar , 26 November 2005, as a symbolic protest against ethnic division. The statue was unveiled before a few hundred people in Mostar, which was badly damaged during the 1992-1995 Bosnia's war, and a day after, a statue of Lee is due to be erected in Hong Kong to honour the 65th anniversary of his birth. Lee was chosen as a hero that all ethnic groups could relate to, in the city that was nearly destroyed during the fierce fighting between Croats and Muslims and remains bitterly divided.
