LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND - DECEMBER 21: Foodbank volunteer Linda Wilson (L) talks to Elaine Oliver and her daughter Safiyah Lesley, aged 14 months, after collecting essential Christmas food on December 21, 2012 in Liverpool, England. Elaine, who is a mother of five, had her home burgled this week and had all of the children's Christmas presents and family housekeeping money stolen and had to turn to the Foodbank to help them through Christmas. With Christmas only days away, volunteers at the Central Liverpool Foodbank at the Frontline Trust, have seen one of their busiest days of the year as they give out free food for the needy. The centre has been giving out festive treats as well as its normal food donation - feeding over 1000 individuals in its first year, including over 300 children..
