SAILING-UAE-DHOW-RACE-AL YAMAMAH
Emiratis sail traditional 60ft dhows during a race under the slogan "Al Yamamah" strating at the island of al-Kamar (moon) finishing at the coast of Dubai, on October 25, 2014. Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan Al Maktoum has allocated 10 million Emirati Derhams (over 2 and a half million US dollars) and three luxury cars for the first three winners, making the race the highest in value of traditional marine sports since the traditional races launched in the country, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
