Nautilus, the world's first atomic powered submarine, receives as commissioning plaque from John J. Hopkins, chairman of the board and president of General Dynamics Corp., at commissioning ceremonies for the craft at Groton. Hopkin's firm built the hull of the Nautilus. First sea trials for the revolutionary submarine are expected to start in a few months after it is completely fitted out.
