TORUGART PASS, CHINA: Border guards at Torugart Pass check point inspect trucks preparing to make their way to Bishkek, capital of troubled Kyrgyzstan, 28 March 2005, in western China's Xinjiang province. Security at the China-Kyrgyzstan border has intensified after street protests led to the ouster of Kyrgyz president Askar Akayev over the weekend.
