Moro Rock monolith is a granite dome rock formation in Sequoia National Park, California.A stairway leading to its summit was built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps cutting the steps into the rock. The CCC job creation program was established during the Great Depression by the Federal Emergency Relief Administration to create manual labor jobs for millions of unemployed workers.Today Moro Rock attracts lots of tourists and photographers. The view from the top encompasses much of Sequoia National Park , including the Great Western Divide.
